It's Been Just Over a Week

Thank You for the Support

It's been just over a week since I made 44 Delta live to the public, and the support and positive feedback have been tremendous. Thank you!

I want to give a special thank you to Sandman, who was kind enough to review some of the things I sell. Sandman reached out to me several months ago when I was still selling inventory from a Google Sheet to purchase a Chuck Vise and some Micro Pinning Trays. Unfortunately, that was a bad time, as I was moving and had the shop shut down for a few months. But after launching 44 Delta, I reached back out to him, and he proceeded with the review. If you haven't seen it yet, here it is:

Recovering Stock

Sandman's review brought quite a few people to 44 Delta to buy gear. As a result— and this is by no means a complaint— my inventory numbers have taken a hit. I'm currently working to restock items as quickly as I can. My printers are screaming away in the other room as I write this.

I've got more SmallRig clamps on order for the Chuck Vises and expect a batch tomorrow, with more arriving in a few days.

What's Next

I have some really fun new colors coming in that I'm excited to try out. Experimenting with all these exotic colors and material finishes in 3D printing has been one of the most enjoyable aspects of running this little shop. I've been 3D printing for many, many, years now, but never had the opportunity before to try out so many different brands and colors. And the variety of options it provides for people to customize their hobby tools is just awesome.

Additionally, I'm working on a new design for something I'll be selling in the shop very soon. It's not a tool, but I think it's something people are going to love. Honestly, it's one of the first things I wished for after starting to move up the belt rankings. I'll say no more for now, as I'm keeping it under wraps until it's ready. Stay tuned!

I'll continue to hunt down the best options for tools I can print and provide to the community. And if I can't find what I'm looking for, I'll do the CAD work myself and create something.

I will also continue to find ways to give out free stuff to the community. I've been donating items to LadyLock's channel for quite a while now. I've only done one giveaway myself, but expect more. And I'm working with a few other community members as we speak to provide free tools as giveaways.

The long-term goal of this shop isn't to become a large entity. Instead, it's to get useful tools into the hands of both existing and new locksport enthusiasts at approachable prices. By doing so, we can continue to attract more members to the community at large.
