Sangra EZ (Multipick, Southern Specialties Handles, Greyhound)

Magnetic handles for your "popsicle" picks from Multipick, Southern Specialties AND Greyhound are finally here. And these have a few new tricks up their sleeves.

Multipick, Southern Specialties and Greyhound all largely share the same pick body dimensions, with the primary difference being pick thickness. Rather than make, stock, and sell 5 or more different versions of handles for these brands, 44 Delta wanted to design one handle that would work well for all of them. This benefits you as well because you can use the same handles across a wider variety of picks and sizes.

The Sangra EZ handles borrow from previous 44 Delta handles in both their aesthetics and pick attachment mechanism. However, these handles have built-in shims that allow you to adapt them to different pick thicknesses and fine-tune the fit for your needs.

The shims are 3D printed directly into the central body of the handle. To use them, simply break them free (very easy) and install them in the magnet tracks after the magnets are installed. You can leave them out entirely, install them on one half of the handle, or use them on both sides depending on the fit you want.

There's also a new feature toward the rear of the handle: a split, floating U-shaped section designed to flex. This allows the handle to accommodate both the pick and its rear locking nub while helping to lock everything more securely in place.

These handles are likely compatible with even more picks, as this "popsicle" shape is common across manufacturers. If you have another brand of pick where the metal body is very close (within .1mm) of 79.1mm long and 8.3mm wide, there's a really good chance these handles will fit.

NOTE: These are NOT compatible with CI Summit/Genesis. For those picks, you'll want the Summit EZ handles from 44 Delta.

Shimming for a Tighter Fit

You may need to shim your raw pick handles to get a truly perfect fit for your needs. It's non-destructive and very easy to do. Try the handles as-is first. If you need a tighter fit, refer to the Shimming for a Better Pick Handle Fit-Up page.
